We are Giving Back!
June is a special month at Dalyas. Why? Let me explain. We believe in dreaming big dreams no matter what life may throw at you. Our little shop was built on the premise that even though life may present you with a few curveballs, you still have the choice to meet those challenges head on with a positive attitude and a fierceness that overcomes. Everyone's unique in their own way and there is beauty in how you choose to live your life to the fullest despite limitations that may be cast upon you.
The inspiration for our drive at Dalyas to spread this message is a little girl named Olivia. You may have seen Olivia posing in some of our beautiful dresses that have become some of your favorites! Olivia is full of life, spunk, and energy. The girl LOVES dressing up and you can tell when she puts on one of our dresses her confidence and excitement emanate while twirling around. This girl is something else.
Olivia also has a rare disease known as Dravet Syndrome. Dravet Syndrome is a rare form of catastrophic epilepsy that is difficult to treat. Despite her disease, Olivia has a zest for life that is contagious. She is the spark behind Dalyas and our message that we want to share with the world. All of this brings us back to the month of June... June is Dravet awareness month, so in honor of sweet Olivia and to fulfill our promise to give back to our communities, we are donating 10% from the month of June and all proceeds from the t-shirt sales below to the Dravet Foundation in hopes for a cure for Olivia and continued support to all families that lead a similar journey.
